First looks provide an opportunity to ease the couple’s nerves on the big day. Since it’s just the two of you, you can talk through what the day has looked like, get excited about what it has yet to hold, and soak in what the day means as you take this next step. They can also consist of a special time to read your vows together before you stand in front of your families and friends. It’s such a beautiful time of exchanging these love letters that you’ve written for one another.

We also love the traditional “first look” when the groom truly sees his bride for the first time walking down the aisle. If it’s before the ceremony or as the Chapel doors open, both first looks make us so thankful to witness the love and joy that wedding days bring.
We can’t forget about Father/Daughter first looks. These always tug at our heartstrings seeing this moment between the bride and the man who loved her first. What could be sweeter?
