Laurel Loves || The Moms Who Raised Us
At The Laurel, we get a sneak peek into the role a mother plays for every bride and groom — an important role that we know started long ago. Knowing the depth of love moms have for their children, they show such strength and courage as they send their babies off to start their own families (Cue the tears! Sniff!).
We see how helpful moms are as they tie and tuck and lace and smooth and hug and smile and embrace all the little details that make up a wedding day. And just as she tied your shoes when you were four, she carefully ties the lace of your wedding gown.
Just as she wiped the spaghetti sauce off your face as a child, she smooths your hair and straightens your boutonniere one last time.
She smiled when your high school self came home saying you had a crush on the pretty girl in class — but inside she wondered who your future bride would be.
And just as she gave everything she had to set as good an example as she could, she basks in the joy of seeing who her child has become.
The Laurel loves moms. We love her dedication to her family and the love she has shown through so many seasons of so many years. Happy Mother’s Day to every mom who raised us — you deserve nothing but the very best.
