It’s officially our favorite time of year at The Laurel- fireplace season. There’s something about the warm glow of a roaring fire that makes The Laurel feel like home. Though we love utilizing the fireplace on crisp, cool evenings, there’s one element that displays beauty during all seasons. Today, we are cozying up and reminiscing on the amazing mantels we have seen over the last year!
With the mantel as the canvas, the design is completely left up to the couple. There are so many ways to adorn it- blooms, candles, mirrors, wooden initials. The opportunities are endless and the results are always stunning!
As the fireplace is usually located behind the head table, the wooden mantle serves as the perfect, picturesque backdrop for the newly married duo.
