Our Corporate Sales Manager, Allison Domanic, not only understands the weight you bear as you plan your company’s next event, but is eager to help you accomplish your goals. With an expansive background in luxury hotel event planning, she understands every aspect of corporate planning—from the tasty challenge of picking the perfect menu to the treasure hunt for an affordable venue that offers a mastery level of service.

Allison, what can a potential client expect when meeting you for the first time?

I’m a very relaxed and open-minded person. I want to listen to what clients are looking for and what kind of event they hope to have. For instance, an all-day conference, a trade show, an intimate business meeting, or a corporate-wide sales meeting? Whatever the event, they can expect to meet a “can-do” person who wants to help!

What are the top pieces of information you hope to gather from a potential client planning a corporate event?

General needs of the event—size of space, number of guests, A/V needs, catering needs, etc. What are their expectations for the event? Does their event have a vision or theme? And, if the potential client is willing, the budget for their event. With these details, I can create a custom plan for their event and tell them exactly what The Laurel can do to maximize their experience.

What can corporate party planners expect to find at The Laurel that is different from other locations in the D/FW area?

The Laurel is uniquely located right outside of the airport, which serves to be very convenient for guests traveling into D/FW from out of town! The Laurel team is very flexible. We strive to be different from every other venue by doing everything we can to make your experience exactly what you want it to be. We are here to help you.
